Full Stack Developer

Location: Yangon, Myanmar

Summary: Myanmar Now Media Company Limited is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who will be able to closely work with our editorial team. The candidate is expected to provide technical support for both web development and digital marketing initiatives.

Job Description:

• Developing front end website architecture;
• Developing back end website applications;
• Working alongside with UI/UX designer to create a compelling website;
• Creating servers and databases for functionality;
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications;
• Identify and resolve website experience challenges;
• Conduct regular test and troubleshoot;
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product;
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science is prefferred;
• Strong working level knowledge of Software Design Patterns;
• Solid understanding of web practices, information design and usability
• Strong foundation in front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
• Proficiency with server side language, PHP is preferred;
• Proficiency in building website using Drupal is preferred
• Familiarity with SQL-based database technology such as MySQL, Postgres and Oracle;
• Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL and JavaScript
• Strong organizational and project management skills;
• Excellent verbal communication skills;
• Good problem solving skills;
• Attention to details;

• Media business experience or expertise
